Elke and Richard’s wedding aboard the Sunset Hornblower Yacht on San Francisco Bay was nothing short of an adventure! With the wind blowing and the boat rocking, guests had to hold on to keep their balance, adding a touch of excitement to the already magical day.
The day started with some getting-ready photos at the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel next to the boat dock. Elke and Richard were both excited and nervous, but ready to take the plunge and begin the cruise of life together.
We did a first look in the afternoon before boarding the boat for the ceremony. Unfortunately, the Empress Hornblower Yacht had some mechanical issues, and the couple had to switch to the smaller Sunset Hornblower Yacht for their wedding ceremony. With this change, the ceremony space was rather intimate and cozy, and the guests felt like they were part of something special.
As the yacht set sail on the San Francisco Bay, the wind picked up and the boat began to rock – a LOT. Elke, who was already feeling a little woozy, had to take it easy. But everyone, including the guests, was in good spirits and enjoyed the stunning views of the city skyline and the Bay.
The night ended with group portraits of Elke & Rich, and guests back at the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel, wrapping up what was a truly unforgettable evening. Overall, Elke and Richard’s wedding aboard the Hornblower Sunset Yacht was a unique and memorable experience. It was a day that will be remembered for its adventure, romance, and the love that was shared between two people and their families.
The wind and waves added an extra element of excitement and made the day even more special, proving that no matter what life throws our way, the winds of love will always prevail.
