Jim Vetter Photography recently had the honor of photographing a gorgeous wedding at Wine and Roses in Lodi, California.  Alexis and Lorenzo were married on October 26, 2012.  They had the perfect day – 75 degrees, sunny, no wind.  And the Wine and Roses venue is so beautiful with amazing locations to make wedding photos.

When I arrived at Alexis’ room I was greeted by a lovely girl I assumed to be Alexis’ sister. Nope, this was her mother, Pamela.  I told them that I could see where Alexis got her looks. 😉

Alexis looked amazing in her gown from Bliss Bridal in Stockton, California.  Her veil was as long as her train and really added to already graceful presence.

Alexis and Lorenzo each have very unique wedding bands which really seem to match their individual style.  Lorenzo proposed down on the water of the California Delta where they had one of their first dates.

The light on the balcony was just awesome and we captured a series of lovely portraits while Alexis was getting ready.

The flowers were supplied by Charlene Smith, a friend of the family.  What a wonderful friend to have!  The bouquet was so beautiful.

On the way down from the room, I just had to stop Alexis because she looked so great in the light of the staircase.  Here she is shining bright!

Friends of Alexis did her hair (Melissa) and makeup (Ivy).  Beautiful work, girls!

Alexis and Lorenzo had their first look before the ceremony and we were able to capture their reactions.  Lorenzo was about to come out of his skin, he was so excited.

No rice at this wedding – it was bubble time as they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. 🙂

The cake was supplied by Frosted Flour Cakery in Lodi, California.  Beautiful and yummy!
