I’ve been wanting to photograph a marriage proposal and recently had the opportunity when groom-to-be Sri asked me if I could secretly photograph his proposal to his girlfriend Ashwini.

Sri had his friends go to the beach at Kirby Cove and setup a little white tent with pillows and fruit where he would get down on one knee and present the ring. As you can see from the photos, she was genuinely surprised and certainly said “YES!”

Don’t you just love the expression on Ashwini’s face when she realized what was really happening?
