I feel so fortunate to be a wedding and engagement photographer in the San Francisco Bay area! There are so many amazing locations to shoot. This week, I took Kim and Aaron down to Kirby Cove and we had the best conditions – perfect weather, barely a soul around, and a moonrise that blew us away.
We started up on Battery Spencer overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. Then we followed the sun down the hill toward Kirby Cove. Sunset on the road to Kirby Cove is so beautiful.
When we got down to the beach at Kirby Cove, there were very few people so it felt like we had the place to ourselves.
Just as we were about to start the hike back up the hill, we noticed that the full moon was rising over the city and under the bridge. Amazing!
Such a sight to see! The bridge turned into a lighthouse as the moon shone through the north tower. That’s a very rare thing to see.
Congratulations, Kim and Aaron! I can’t wait for the wedding 🙂
