Dianah & Juan really wanted to have a waterfall as the backdrop for their engagement photos this spring. It turned out that the best option for us was the Bollinger Canyon Waterfall in San Ramon, California. We timed it PERFECTLY because the waterfall turned off the moment we finished photographing with it! And, we had setting sun in just the right position to get the images you see below.

Everyone starts out a little nervous in front of the camera but by simply allowing them to be themselves and enjoy each other we get very naturally beautiful images. Dianah and Juan warmed up quickly and we had a great time at this gorgeous location.

This waterfall, next to a main road in San Ramon, is easily accessible and looked so good in the late afternoon sun. I would suggest this location for any kind of portrait shoot where you want a natural backdrop without having to hike miles into the hills.
