I approached the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, San Francisco recently about doing a styled wedding shoot inspired by early 20th century bridal fashion.  What a blessing to be given the opportunity to make these photos in such an amazing location.  The hotel staff was wonderful to work with and just look at this amazing setting!

The gorgeous gowns featured in this shoot are those of indie couture designer, Amy-Jo Tatum.  Her designs are timeless and beautiful.  Absolutely check her out.  She also writes the popular wedding blog, Bride Chic.

We were so fortunately to have such talented hair and makeup artists for this shoot.  Monina and her team from Moderne Beauty really put the icing on the cake for us.  Thank you so much, ladies!

These photos with the panoramic views of San Francisco were made on the private deck outside the hotel’s premier guest suite.  Imagine starting your honeymoon in this room!

The grande staircase in the lobby of the Mandarin Oriental, is a signature feature of this hotel and makes a perfect backdrop for this city modern, art deco shoot.
